Lift
Information
All of the Romania ski resorts have excellent lift systems for
skiers. Many of the systems are new or newly updated for the surge of skiers coming into the country since the fall
of Ceausescu. In an effort to attract more tourists the Romanian government has put huge sums of money into the
Romania ski areas. Lifts are efficient and comfortable.
An example of the typical Romanian lift system can be seen at the
Poiana Brasov Romania ski resort. The resort, like other Romanian ski resorts, offers chair lifts, gondolas, and
drag lifts. A total of nine lifts make wait time unnecessary at the resort. All of the Romanian resorts now boast
multiple lifts for holiday guests.
Lift ticket packages are available at all Romania ski resorts.
Most resort guests will find they can purchase lift ticket packages when making their resort reservations. Several
resorts even offer free lift passes to their guests.
